Hello, and Welcome!
Thank you for your interest in my art. If we haven’t met yet, I’m Bonny, an acrylic painter based in Ohio.
I paint abstract canvases with lots of texture. Also landscapes, pets, and portraits, all with a loose, painterly style. Some are quite large, often 3 x 4 feet.
Some fun facts you might not know about me…
- 🌀 I sold my first piece of art in ninth grade. It was a bird painted on a candle and I got $8 for it.
- 🌀 I love interior design and whenever I paint something I keep in mind how it will look in someone’s home.
- 🌀 A barber once commissioned me to paint his family in a vintage, sepia-toned setting that looked like an old time barbershop with his antique barber pole and other collectibles. It was a lot of fun to paint!
- 🌀 I’ve painted murals, a museum display, signs in plazas, and even King Kong on the sides of a wrecker that hauled other wreckers!
These days I’m working on the Chiclets Collection. You can see the Chiclets here, and learn why they’re called that. When not painting, you can find me Urban Poling (Nordic walking) at the park, or experimenting with whole food, plant-based recipes.
